Silence keeps me here and sitting,
Waiting on some kind of word.
Will you say 'hello' again?
Or could this be the very end?
Can we walk the streets of Moose Jaw?
Or tour the city in your car?
I like to hear you share your thoughts.
I'll let you learn to ask for mine.
I've got this treasure that I'm told to keep.
She's not for me but someone right.
She tries to leap right out her cage.
How long can I keep her down?
I think I need a pair of blinders,
Keep 'em on, days and nights.
I've got one LORD, one hope, one prize.
Let me fix me eyes & train my sights.
Listen to me, dear little girl:
Christ is enough to fill you, please you.
To Christ, give yourself all.
(I promise) Your desires will be whole.

Dear Friend
Don’t need to ask me out,
Don’t need to buy me flowers,
Don’t need to shower pretty words,
Don’t need to hold my hand.
Don’t need a promise of commitment,
Don’t want to lend my heart.
...I know I won’t be staying long.
But be my friend.
Yes, let’s be friends!
I like the character I see in you.
If we can guard each others’ hearts,
I want to know you more.
So many uncertain factors...
Uncertain risks...
Is this wise?
Tell me, is friendship possible?

Go
If you're sitting at a red,
You're sitting in a vehicle.
If you're sitting at a red,
You are equipped to move.
If you're sitting at a red,
It won't stay red forever.
If you're sitting at a red,
The red will turn to green.
Then you go.

Indeed
Better than a pen to a page,
More than line can serve to create,
I hear the music and to it I am drawn.
Orchestra warms hopeful instruments.
Watch and pray, see,
Listen and perceive, wonder,
How begins the opening song of triumph.
My heart indeed agrees,
O LORD my God, be exalted.
O LORD, be exalted in prayer!
O LORD my God, be exalted.
Come, Lord Jesus, come!

May We Both
River drags with much aggression.
Water flows and I lie beneath:
This I deserve, my sole confession.
Stillness fills my bones and teeth.
My eyes have seen my equal’s face;
His works have done what my heart hides.
Murderous, we find strengthened pace.
Vileness in us true resides.
Lord! Have you seen this dreadful thought?
Too soon take blood than give my own.
Us two for whom you died and fought,
In current wide, us both be thrown.
A better hero than myself -
Raise us up for good conscience’ sake!
